In the photo below, the class is lining up to begin the indoor Easter egg hunt. Doesn't Emma look super excited!?!
As you can see, she got a little happier once she got the hang of things. She did a good job of locating the hidden eggs among school chairs, erasers, and under desks.
Here she is pulling out one on the chalk board...
And taaa daaa...a basketful of eggs!
After the egg hunt, the class went back to their classroom for an Easter craft of decorating wooden Easter ornaments with stickers.
So nutritious - but then it was a party and parties aren't supposed to be nutritious.
Emma was rather crushed when she learned she wouldn't be back to school for another week. It may be a long Spring Break next week because each time we drive by her school, she'll say "I want to go back!"
After the craft was completed and every millimeter of the wooden ornament was covered in sticker, they had their party food consisting of traditional Little Caesars pizza, cookies and juice.
